It’s a bit of a dream come true to make money without leaving your house. The problem with this is that most online jobs require you to be at least 18 years old.

This is a problem for teens under 18 who have free time and want to make money online somehow.

But thankfully, there are online jobs for teens out there that you can start right away without being interviewed or anything like that that will make you money.

Below is a list of awesome jobs for teens online that pay pretty good!

Paid Surveys

I think the best way for a teen to make money online immediately is to complete surveys. Paid surveys are pretty straight forward in how they work. You get sent surveys and you complete them. When you complete them, you get paid money. It’s about as straight forward as that.

Below are excellent paid survey websites you should sign up for and start getting paid for your opinion.

Start A Blog

Blogging is an incredibly way to make money. It’s not a “job” in the sense you put hours in and get paid a certain amount of dollars per hour. But you can look at it as sort of an investment of your time where you are building an asset that will pay you money in the long run. With a blog, you can make money many ways. Some of the most popular ways to make money is displaying advertisements or promoting products that are related to the topic you are talking about. For example, if you’re 16 and really into Lego, you could start a blog about Lego and promote Lego sets for example. If someone were to buy a Lego set through your website, you would make money with the referral. You start blogging while you’re under 18. It’s an incredible “job”. It’s what I do for a living and if I had the chance, I would have begun sooner!

Create Youtube Videos

Creating Youtube video’s isn’t really a job, but more like an side gig you perform yourself. The idea of making money with Youtube is to make videos that can become popular, and make money off Youtube ads. Basically, people will watch your video, and some people will click on the ads. Whenever someone clicks on the ads, you will be paid some money. Sometimes these clicks are worth maybe 10 or 20 cents, and sometimes the clicks will be worth several dollars. It will depend on what ad is being displayed. But the main thing is to make videos that people want to watch – whether they are funny and dumb videos or good tutorials about a topic like how to fix a car, as long as people watch them, you’re on the right track. Youtube is great because you only need to be 13 years old to sign up.

Slice the Pie

If you enjoy listening to music and enjoy having an opinion on music, Slice the Pie may be the perfect online job for you. They will pay you money to listen to music! I know, crazy right. You listen to music and will be paid 5 cents to 20 cents for each song you listen to. You’ll need to review the song you just listened to to give feedback to the song maker, but after that you get paid. Payment is made through Paypal and you need to be 17 years of age or older to participate, the last time I checked. You can visit Slice The Pie by clicking here.

Sell Your Old Stuff on eBay

Selling on eBay isn’t really a job, but it can make you a hell of a lot of money. Gather up all the stuff you don’t need or use anymore and put them up for sale on eBay.  A lot of people shop on eBay and look for great deals on a bunch of stuff. And you may be surprised to find out that MANY people buy used things, especially if they can get it at a discount. I’m sure you’ve got a lot of stuff in your room or garage that you just don’t use anymore. Maybe you even thought about throwing it out. Well, put it on eBay and see what happens! Might make you a little fortune.

Uhaul

Uhaul hired teens aged 16+ to be customer service representatives. You work from home online on your computer. The pay is about $8 an hour and there is room for more money when you earn bonuses and get experience. You can visit Uhaul’s website by clicking here.

With teens these days having more time than money, it’s not surprising that many teens are looking for ways to make extra money with their spare time. I think it’s absolutely awesome that these teens want to get out there and do something productive with their time. While money to buy stuff is a great motivator, it’s still great to see.

The list above is a bunch of great jobs teens can do online to earn income. Short of going out and getting a real job, these are really good ways to kill all the extra time teens seem to have these days. It’s better than playing Xbox all summer, right? It’s fairly difficult to find really good jobs on the internet when you’re younger than 18 because almost everything online requires a person to be 18 years of age at least in order to be employed. But again, check the list of cool online teen jobs above and pick out the ones you like the most, sign up for them, and get crackin!
